Privacy
A small site with a small data footprint.
This notice describes the information processed when you use crusoeadvisory.com.
Website requests
The hosting server records limited request information needed for security, availability, and 404 diagnosis. Logs may include the requested path, time, response status, browser user agent, referrer, and a masked network address. Query strings are removed from the access log. Logs are rotated and retained for no more than 14 days under the current server configuration.
Cookies and analytics
The main site does not set advertising cookies and does not currently load a third-party analytics script. Click elements include non-identifying event labels so privacy-conscious analytics can be enabled later only after a provider and retention policy are approved.
Interactive tool storage
The Deep Constraints Triage tool stores draft form entries and recent incident notes in your browser's local storage so the tool can work between page loads. That information remains on your device and is not uploaded by the website. The tool provides controls to clear saved information. Avoid entering confidential, personal, or controlled information into a shared browser.
If you send email, the message and contact information are processed by the sender's and recipient's email providers so the inquiry can be answered. Email is not an approved channel for confidential operational files. Review the client data handling policy before discussing an engagement.
Scheduling and external sites
No Calendly widget or other third-party scheduling frame is embedded in this version of the site. If a separate Calendly booking link is offered, Calendly processes the booking details under its own privacy notice; email remains the alternative when a scheduling service is blocked or declined.
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, Calendly, or other external sites leave Crusoe Advisory. Those services receive information according to their own privacy terms when you choose to visit them.
Requests and changes
To ask about website data, request deletion of correspondence, or raise a privacy or security concern, email brian@crusoeadvisory.com. Do not attach confidential files. Material changes to this notice will be reflected by its effective date.
